Only good for cleanings. Went for a routine cleaning and was instructed that I needed fillings. Got the fillings and due to the dentist’s methods ended up needing a root canal. Would not recommend.

Started off as a good experience, but I have been rescheduled twice now and after today of being told the next date to be seen was June; its time to move on.

I have had a really good experience here With a doctor and most of the staff. Unfortunately, my crown fell off after only one month! They have fixed it and I acknowledged my responsibility for its care. I’m grateful. When I called to tell them I had strike 3 with Miriam (who others have mentioned). She is deeply indifferent and seems perpetually put out by having to interact with clients (or just me?) but has no problem chatting with her coworkers while scrolling on her phone. Is it too much to ask that when I come in she say “hello, thanks for coming in.”? Or when I come in with my crown in a plastic bag she say, “I am so sorry this happened!”? I don’t think it is. This place would be MUCH better if they took her away from that front desk.

I had to go here for years to get my braces done and the staff is rude, will hurt you, and even ignore you when you need help. Good luck placing a call to this place it might take them a few days or even weeks to get back to you and on top of everything they slap a large price tag onto this gruesome experience.

Two stars because I never had to pay out of pocket with my insurance. Not five stars for a couple reasons. On my third or fourth visit, my dental assistant spent my entire cleaning telling me how terribly I’ve done with keeping up with my teeth. She did not try to have a conversation with me, and I couldn’t respond because it was during my cleaning. It felt like I was in kindergarten and she was scolding me. She later told the dentist in front of me that she “talked to me” about my dental hygiene. Not once did she ask me questions or try to engage me in conversation. We’re all adults, it would be more helpful to have a discussion with customers. I have never had a cavity and do take care of my teeth. They also require you to confirm your appointment twice at risk of losing your appointment. One confirmation is a month before. I confirmed my appointment at that time. A few days prior to my appointment, I received a voicemail saying that if I don’t confirm then they will cancel my appointment. I called and spoke with Miriam and asked if they received my confirmation a month prior. She said yes. I asked why they would leave me a voicemail a month later saying they’re going to cancel my appointment if I don’t confirm my appointment. Miriam said that’s just the way it is and was dismissive and rude. Have been going elsewhere for dental care and am having a much better customer experience.

My dental hygienist, Paraah, was very professional. Overall, I had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and caring.

Every time I go for my check up they hurt my teeth are always rough. recently they had to rearrange the bracket which is weird because I’ve had two family members that had braces and they never needed to arrange the brackets so they definitely messed up my brackets. Also today I found my corner bracket isn’t connect to the wire.

I now love going to the dentist. ODC is special because all of their staff are special. They care about you. They make me feel like I’m in Hollywood and my smile makes me feel like a star.

Dental receptionist very professional and diligent in following up. Aramis was able to notify me of an opening for a cleaning. Dental staff very attentive and detail to ensuring covid safe protocols. Dr. Takla was very professional and courteous. Appreciated the télé prompters in front of dental chair with relaxing nature film. Would have liked to understand what my first visit would be as I had to schedule cleaning apart from intro visit. With Covid and own general preference, would have liked to minimize visits. Also, information about a surgery that I may or may not need for a certain procedure was off putting. When they presented me with costs also very off putting since it was my initial visit and they did not even do a cleaning in first visit.

The staff is pleasant,but they charge you however they want to. Went there for an exam plus x-ray plus cleaning which was included for 99$ for patients without insurance,as it says on their website. Well I ended just having an exam plus x-ray and no cleaning all of that 260$. Then scheduled an extraction because I had a tooth needed to be removed immediately cause I had a bad infection. First the price for extraction was 1169$ then it was 946$ and finally it was 846$. They told me I need couple root canals, I wanted to fix my smile, the dentist said he couldn't do it and I have to wear braces and it goes on and on so that way they can get more money out of your pocket.Also when I asked for my xray to be sent on my email they said 35$ if I want them. Called them an hour later and the lady didn't even ask for a payment! It's ridiculous.Don't waste your time here, go get a second opinion!

Moved away and could not find a comparable experience in my new neighborhood. Decided to take the trek back to Orland Dental and so glad I did! Thank you Dr. Takla and Sharon for such a professional and painless experience.

I wish there is a rate less than one star to award this unprofessional clinic. The dentist and his assistants they only need to get hold of and make you pay by any chance. It was a terrible experience with that clinic and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone.

Okay I initially thought this was a great establishment but one rude unprofessional woman MIRIAM. It’s been a while since I’ve bumped into rude customer service. I called and told the office I was in traffic and will be 10min late. When I arrived in the parking lot an associate called and said we have to reschedule you because it’s 15 after. I asked why didn’t anyone tell me there was hard 15 min cut off and that I’m in the parking lot. Miriam with her unpleasant attitude said it’s because it’s in our written policy and we don’t remind patients of the cutoff. I absolutely understand that people need to get home to there families and wrap things up. However let’s try to inform patients of hard policies like 15min and your done. I literally was in the parking lot. My first visit wAs pleasant and I had thousands of dollars ready to spend with this office. However I’ll ever return because I don’t want that rude energy near my teeth and me. So thanks Miriam for helping your fellow team and dentistry with losing out on patients. My money will go with a much more professional team.

This office was nice and the people are nice, BUT everything is a sales pitch. First of all-the young lady that took my Ex rays was very rough!!!! She just shoved the thing in my mouth without warning! I'm not sure if she is new but, my experience was horrible. She was nice but VERY rough! 2nd the prices out of pocket is very EXPENSIVE!!! I have very good insurance and compared to other dentist offices Orland Dental care is the most expensive. Everything is a sales pitch in this office. I do not recommend this office.

Had an ortho appt today, waited half hour to be seen, then spent hour and a half for my routine 6 week visit. They always have someone new working(practicing) on my teeth, even though I've asked for someone experienced, they somehow never have anyone. Then they say that I should come back in another six weeks, but never have any openings for ortho. The ortho comes in for less than 5minutes and then, on to the next patient. They overbook and are focus more on getting new patients, rather then taking care of the patients they already have. What a shame. 😔

Hard to get an appointment. Nice facility. Staff was nice, but very slow. Not sure if they are new. Unable to get a copy of my xrays without paying an additional fee. I usually get copies of what has been paid for or covered by insurance. Was given no option to do anything other than care that was out of pocket. Dr was nice, but I am not sure if I would reccomend or return.

The absolute best service ever. I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled at once and the staff really put me at ease. Jackie is amazing with here bubbly personality and Armando made sure I was 100% comfortable before we started anything. Lastly Dr. Meehan got the job done fast and painless! Thank you again! I’ve been a patient here for almost a year now and I am currently in braces, I love the staff and environment. Tracey always greets me with a smile and by name! Although I know that on the days the orthodontist is there, they are very busy, they manage to make my appointment fun and comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Quach, Rocio is amazing! They are nice, however definitely seek second opinion if you’re not happy with their diagnosis after your exam. I found this office through Open Care, which gives you a bonus if you book an appointment through them. The office is in a good location, however when I got there and filled out new patient paperwork I had to wait while others walked in after me and were taken almost immediately. The dental assistant apologized to me a couple times, but still. Secondly, the X-rays and pictures took FOREVER. Next the dentist came in, in which he was very nice however told me very fast that I would need two root canals w/ crowns, which prior to insurance was around $3k meaning I would cover close to half of that. What made me think I would need to seek a second opinion was reading some of the reviews below as a couple other people mentioned the same diagnosis so after reading these reviews I was skeptical. Then as I was sitting for a very long time for what I thought was going to be a cleaning; the dental assistant came back in and explained the costs for the two root canals/crowns, etc. I then was told I would have to schedule a cleaning, which I thought was strange especially because I needed a Saturday cleaning and I couldn’t get that done until 1.5 months later. Ultimately, with the multiple red flags I decided to cancel my appointments and try and get my deposit refunded, which after many failed attempts calling the office (calls were forwarded to a concierge service) they finally called me back and said they processed the refund(still waiting). I then found another dentist strictly off of Google reviews and made an appointment. I got in within a few days and had full exam with cleaning :-) the exam showed I would only need two fillings and no root canals/crowns, which in turn would only cost me a fraction of the price Orland Dental Care was going to charge me. Ultimately, seek second opinions if you don’t feel right about something.

dont even bother going here! i went in for a cleaning & had 1 tooth of concerns & the polished my teeth 1st before my cleaning. then they take an x-ray. & then i finally get my teeth cleaned & the hygienist dug so deep into my gums that my gums hurt for days! anyway, when the dentist finally sees me, he proceeds to tell me that i needed to 2 root canals immediately, that i have horrible tooth decay & they signed me up for care credit, which i did not want! i have 2 really good insurance plans, mine & my husbands & they told me even with 2 insurances, that it would be 3000.00! out of my pocket! SERIOUSLY?! I went & got a 2nd opinion from another reputable dentist & only ended up needing 2 crowns & 1 filling & paid 50.00 total for something that they told me would cost me 3K so, i would beware!! ill take my 3K and pay for a vacation for me, not for you!

Scam alert! Are they friendly? Yes. Are they professional? Yes. Do they bill you for work that you haven't had done yet? YES! I went in to have a tooth checked about a month ago. After the exam I find out I have a few cracks in my teeth from old filings. After waiting over an hour for an estimate I fill out an application for credit through Lending Tree, just in case. Then they come in south an estimate of almost $4000.00. Wow! For 2 teeth! This estimate included two root canals that they said I might not need. They asked me to sign the estimate. I then asked the dental assistant, "Am I being charged now? Before I even have the work done? " She said, "No. Just a $50.00 deposit to book the Dentist's time." I've never heard of that but ok. I made my appointment for 2 weeks later. About a week later, after checking my insurance and finding out that I shouldn't be paying near that much (the dentist wasn't included in my insurance) I cancelled my appointment saying, "it's way too expensive I have to go to a different dentist." I thought that was it. Well today I open a bill from Lending Tree for almost $4000.00! I immediately called and spoke with Monica. I explained about not having any procedure done and that I cancelled my appointment. She responded with "Most people reschedule their appointment." I told her that I told the receptionist "That it was too expensive for me and I have to go somewhere else. " Then Monica proceeds to tell me "I signed and agreed to the charges." This was said even though the technician told me a $50.00 deposit will only be charged AND charging me for 2 root canals that I might not even need? This tells me that they were going to do the root canals whether I needed them or not! I have no doubt that these charges will be reversed but what kind of dentist charges you beforehand for procedures you might not even need? Beware!

I absolutely love this place. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. If you have a fear of the dentist, they will make you forget all about it from the moment you walk in the door. I’m a stickler about cleanliness, especially in a dentist off and Orland Dental Care offer such a clean, professional, calming atmosphere. One of the worst dentist ever! Please do yourself a favor and find a dentist that cares about you not your money! We went there for my mom because of the great reviews. The first time he came himself to talk to us about what has to be done so we agreed and we had to do 2 sessions. On the first one, I asked to see him for a couple of questions which wasn't going to be long they refused to let me talk to him saying he's busy, even though he was walking around trying to avoid us! He was just talking to the new "customers" yes customers because all they see is dollar signs coming through the door! I found another dentist for the 2nd session which costed me less than half of their price!

I went in recently on June 13th, 2018 and it went by great. The staff is super friendly, yet knowledgeable. For example I found out that brushing with rigid bristles is actually detrimental to gum health and can lead to the receding of gums as well as the wearing away of tooth enamel. Great work Monika and Tracey!

Staff and Dr.Takla always a pleasure. The only thing I hate is that the price of Veneers everywhere is so expensive. It is great to know that Dr. Takla will take great care if fitting me with my new Veneer. I trust Orland Dental whole heartedly.

My seven year old was nervous about going to the dentist as his last experience wasn’t very pleasant. However, from the moment I made the appointment, the staff was warm and friendly. Upon arrival, our awesome experience was continued by the greeting we received from ladies at the front desk. Once he was called back, the technician was very kind and personable. Dr. Shah came in and spoke directly to my son. I could see that he felt at ease. The doctor and the tech explained the process of cleaning and the tech let him feel that the cleaning wouldn’t hurt. He did great. I drove about 40 mins to get to this location but it was TOTALLY worth every minute and every mile. My first time at Dr. Takla's office I loved the atmosphere when I first came in. Danielle was super sweet and nice and always had a smile on when you walk in to the front desk. The staff is very professional and friendly and they just make you feel comfortable. An absolute joke of a business. Went in for toothache and they were trying to sell me implants. What a joke of a place. Then I get a bill In the mail a months later for $150. When they didn't do anything for me. I walked out because they wanted to sell me implants instead of taking my toothache away.

Next month my braces are coming off, I've been coming to Orland Dental Care every 4-6 weeks for over 2 years; Dr Takla, Dr Weber and Dr Salem are the BEST. I've always been very nervous going to dentists but everyone here has always made me feel very comfortable.

I had a 2:30 PM appointment on 11/10/2016. I arrived a little early and the one employee asked me if I wanted coffee, tea or water to drink. I said water and was given a bottle of cold water. All of the staff members that I dealt with today were very nice to me. Dr. Kyle Takla took care of my one tooth. This is a wonderful dentist I see and the dental staff are all nice to me and the office is very nice and modern.

🤣I have always loved to smile go out and talk with people. I lost my smile about a year and a half ago when I pulled my teeth to wear dentures🙄. Dentures was not a fit for me and I spent that year and a half with no teeth at all. I went to orland dental where I have got the all on 4 well 6 screws in my case 😝. Today makes 1 week and I love it❤️❤️❤️.. I didn't bruse or swell and I have a beautiful smile and these are not even my permanent teeth that I will keep😬😬😬. I'm very greatful to the doctors and staff at orland dental as they have changed my life in such an amazing way😇😇😇. I can now go out with my children and feel good about it. Ive hated going to the dentist since I was a kid, until I stepped foot into Orland Dental Care. My experience with Dr T was amazing, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by his smiling staff and felt like I was at home. I periodically visit my dentist (Kyle Takla) at Orland Dental Care in Orland Park, Illinois. He is truly an amazing dentist. He not only performs dental work but also performs root canals and cosmetic dentistry. He is a nice person who looks you in the eye and shakes hands. I went to Orland Dental care and loved it!! I got a cleaning from Sharon and she was awesome, did a great job. I am very scared of the dentist and they all made me feel so comfortable there. Everyone there is very caring and helpful.

Very nice and friendly. I was very nervous going into my procedure and it went very well. Just about no pain at all. They make you feel as comfortable as possible. I've been to several dentists in the area before and dr.takla and his staff are the best.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST! Dr. Takla was on my dental insurance, which is why I went to this office (also had Saturday hours). My dental insurance states that the dentist must charge a certain price for a certain procedure, and Dr. Takla's office charged more than they were supposed to. Even worse, they charged my Care Credit for services they did not yet provide! After going around and around with his office manager and thru my Aetna representative about the over-charges, now Dr. Takla's office is refusing to do any more fillings (for other patients under Aetna plan as well) and we were advised by our Aetna Rep to find another dentist until this is resolved. We asked Office Manager Nicole REPEATEDLY for detailed statements (showing description/code of service and charge to patient) and she does not respond. She will not credit the overcharge to Care Credit (so I have to make a complaint with them) and does not respond to my emails for my records. Now, because of this office's unprofessional conduct, we have to go thru the whole rigamarole of finding another dentist, going in for consult, getting more xrays, getting treatment plan, etc. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL!

Exceptional experience! Like no other dental office! The entire staff obviously love their jobs demonstrated by their care for their patients, willingness to educate patients with helpful information to make their dental hygiene and lives better, and how they take their time to truly listen and spend time working on patient's hygiene and concerns! I highly recommend Orland Dental Care!, Thank You!!

I was a new patient there this past week and had one of the best experiences with the staff and the doctor! From the moment I walked into the beautiful office, I was treated like royalty! Everyone was so nice and pleasant. I came in for a cleaning and ended up needing some additional work, and the staff explained everything so I could understand and gave me every option for payment. It was just wonderful. Dr. Takla and the staff at Orland Dental Care really know what they are doing and helped me feel comfortable since I was very nervous. Thank you to them for helping me get over my fears and helping me understand why my dental health is so important!!!!
